I am a dreamer and an artist.   Dancing, drawing, makeup art, and photography have been intertwined throughout my entire life.  Some of my earliest memories were of my mom, a very talented artist, sitting down with me and teaching me how to draw and paint.  I also remember pretending to be "Annie", and putting on little shows for anyone and everyone who was willing to watch.

I began lessons in dance and gymnastics at the age of 3, and started my professional dance career at 16. I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a specialization in ballet from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA., and performed as a Radio City Rockette for 12 years.  As a child, I was always fascinated with faces. I loved drawing people and dancers. I was also obsessed with makeup. This led me to work as a freelance makeup artist during my breaks in performing. I began a serious interest in photography while traveling the globe dancing, and it was then that my parents bought me my first SLR film camera.   Fast forward to 2009...my husband and I welcomed our son into the world. I didn't want to miss a moment of his life, and so sleep deprived, I was scared I would forget unless it was photographed.  I also wanted to have more than just snapshots of him.   I began immersing myself in ALL THINGS photography related, and practicing every chance I got.  Like dance, I believe that photography is an ever-evolving art form, and I will never stop trying new techniques and learning.  It brings me so much joy to now photograph dancers and children, and create heirloom artwork for families that will be cherished forever.
